CORPORATE EVENTS MANAGER - Dallas-Fort Worth, TX & Los Angeles, CA

Full-Time

The Corporate Events Manager will be responsible for growing new corporate business for WCE and closing and producing full scale events from start to finish. These events include virtual experiences in the current WFH environment, physical in-person events when it is safe to do so, and a hybrid of both as we pioneer this new form of gatherings!

JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: 

  • Recruiting new clients with prospective events via phone, electronic and other outreach methods

    Creating proposals and contracts in a timely manner

  • Closing a high volume of virtual event bookings and collecting payments; future physical event bookings and collecting payments

  • Upselling and meeting monthly and quarterly sales and revenue goals

  • Negotiating rates with venues and vendors

  • Managing client budgets of $3,000 - $500,000+ to cover all elements of their desired virtual, physical or hybrid event

  • Day-of event management either onsite or virtually from load-in to load-out.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: ​Ideal candidate has at least 5 years of large-scale events experience and at least 2 years in a partially sales/commission-based role. They are extremely organized to juggle multiple events at once, comfortable with phone sales and quotas, highly efficient with time management, a team player, can work flexible hours during busy seasons, a great relationship builder, responds quickly to client requests, assertive and persuasive in committing clients to their deals, and ready to be part of an expanding startup.

AGGRESSIVE COMP: Salary + Commissions for $70K at goal with upside to earn $90K+. Cell phone allowance, mileage reimbursement (live events), health benefits & 401k provided.
